About Projects by Mash

​Hi, I’m KD Mashongoane — the hands and heart behind Projects by Mash. I started this business with a simple goal: to offer honest, practical help to people in Thunder Bay who want to take great care of their homes but don’t always have the time, tools, or know-how.

Originally from South Africa, I followed my heart to Thunder Bay — my wife’s hometown and now our home too. As a proud homeowner myself, I understand how important it is to keep things running smoothly, whether it's mounting a shelf, swapping out tires for the season, installing a new smart switch, or fixing up the yard after a long winter.

With a background in hands-on trades and repair work, I’ve built up a wide range of practical skills over the years. I enjoy problem-solving, working with my hands, and finding the best solution — even if that means learning something new. I also offer a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to make it easier for people with busy lives to get the help they need.
